Pat Kearns, RN, OCN
Staff Nurse, UCSF
Pat Kearns followed in her mother's footsteps and graduated from St. Paul's Hospital School of Nursing in Vancouver, BC, where she received her diploma in nursing.
Pat has over thirty years experience in her profession. She has worked in many different areas and believes that oncology nursing is her true calling. Her work with cancer patients and their families has been very rewarding. As the triage nurse in the Breast Care Center for the past two years, she is often the first person the patient encounters, and she does her best to ensure that the patient's questions are answered and problems resolved.
Pat is a certified oncology nurse. She belongs to the Oncology Nursing Society and regularly attends their annual conference.
Pat is a long-time practitioner of Tai Chi. She also enjoys foreign films and walks at Baker Beach.
