Naomi Schechter, MD

Doctor Schechter is a graduate of UCSFÕs School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Later, she completed an additional fellowship in lymphoma and breast cancer radiation therapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Since her fellowship, she also practiced at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Tx. She then returned to the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been in practice at the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center since 2004. Dr. Schechter is the recipient of the Mortimer Lacher Fellowship and the Award for Distinguished Research by the Western Student Medical Research Committee. She has subspecialty interests in breast cancer, lymphoma and head and neck cancers.
