Miranda is the Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Radiation Oncology, specializing in breast cancer. She is a graduate of UCSF School of Nursing and earned her Masters Degree in 2000. She has worked at UCSF in various capacities (staff nurse, charge nurse, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, research coordinator, instructor) since 1997. Her work in oncology has spanned the specialties of Thoracic Oncology, Sarcoma and most recently Breast Cancer. Miranda has taught nursing students at many levels including Associate, Baccalaureate, and Graduate level. She has spoken at local, national and international meetings. Miranda is a San Francisco native and is an avid dance enthusiast.
