Brigid Miralda RN, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Brigid Miralda is a native San Franciscan and she has worked at UCSF since 1999. She attended the Dominican College in San Rafael where she obtained her BSN. Her first jobs as a RN were in the ER and at the Napa County Jail until 1999 when she began her career at UCSF on the heme/onc /Bone Marrow Transplant floor. Brigid then attended the UCSF Family Nurse Practitioner program and obtained her MSN with an emphasize in women's health in 2003. Her nurse practitioner career began in a small triage clinic and Planned Parenthood for a short time until she again returned to UCSF. Brigid worked as an inpatient/outpatient NP in gynecology/oncology for one and half years before an opening became available at the Breast Care Center in July 2005. During all of this she also joined the Army Reserve in 2000 and Brigid is very honored to serve her country. She is currently a Captain in a Combat Support Hospital and serves out of Oakland with the 352nd CSH.
In her spare time she enjoys going to movies, reading, traveling and walking her dog, Diesel (a shar-pei).
