Brigid Miralda RN, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Brigid Miralda is a native San Franciscan who has worked at UCSF since 1999. She earned her BSN from the Dominican College in San Rafael and began her career at UCSF on the Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant floor. In 2003, Brigid obtained her MSN with an emphasis in Women's Health in the UCSF Family Nurse Practitioner program. For a short time, Brigid served as a nurse practioner (NP) in a small triage clinic and at Planned Parenthood before returning to UCSF. Brigid first worked as an inpatient/outpatient NP in UCSF's gynecology/oncology department before joining the Breast Care Center in July 2005. Brigid also began serving in the Army Reserve in 2000, and continues to feel very honored to serve her country. She is currently a Captain in the 7234th Medical Service Unit out of Valleho and was called to a 12-month stint in late 2008.
In her spare time she enjoys going to movies, boxing, running, reading, traveling and walking her dog, Casey.
