Lynn Beach, NP A Bay Area native, Lynn Beach has extensive experience working with women, families and underserved populations. She received her BS in Biology from Santa Clara University, a second bachelor's in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and graduate degree at UCSF's Family Nurse Practitioner program. Before coming to UCSF, Lynn worked with homeless populations in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. She also served as a research coordinator for an NIH study of women, pregnancy and intimate partner violence, worked in UCSF's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and, since then, has worked as a Nurse Educator at UCSF and as a Nurse Practitioner in a women's health and fertility clinic. In her spare time, Lynn enjoys cooking, reading, and her two cats (one named after her favorite restaurant, Zuni). She enjoys triathlons and completed an Ironman race in 2006; most weekends she can be found running, hiking or biking around the Bay Area!
