Janine Figallo joined the Breast Care Center team in August 2007. She worked in Bone Morrow Transplant at UCSF Medical Center for several years before returning to graduate school at UCSF where she graduated with a dual Master's in Oncology/Genomics. Janine performed the majority of her graduate work here at the Breast Care Center which Êincluded work in the clinic as well asÊthe Cancer Risk Program. After graduate school, Janine went to work as an Associate Clinical Scientist at Genentech, Inc. for two years. She returned to the Breast Care Center with great enthusiasm and refers to her return as 'coming home'.ÊIn addition to her undergraduate nursing degree, Janine took an English Literature Minor. She collects old books and is the proud owner of many vintage classics. Her hobbies include yoga, hiking, and writing poetry.
