Biography
Dr. Bonnie N. Joe is Chief of Women's Imaging in the Department of Radiology at the UCSF. Dr. Joe earned her doctorate in electrical and computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, and her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She did residency training in diagnostic radiology and fellowship training in body MRI at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. She worked full-time in the Abdominal Imaging Section at UCSF prior to assuming leadership of the women's imaging program. Dr. Joe's interests include fetal body magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, breast MR spectroscopy and perfusion, and pelvic MRI.
