Craig Henderson, MD

Biography
Dr. Henderson is a hematologist and oncologist specializing in breast cancer research and treatment. He is a member of the Breast Oncology Program and the UCSF Breast SPORE (Special Program of Research Excellence) at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
From 1992-1995, Dr. Henderson was Chief of the Division of Oncology at Moffit-Long-Mt. Zion Hospitals. During the same period, he was also the Director of the Clinical Cancer Programs at the Cancer Center.
Dr. Henderson has served as an expert on various cancer advisory panels of the World Health Organization (WHO) and is a member of the Oxford Early Breast Cancer Trials Collaborative Group, of which he served as the Chairman from 1985-1995. Since 1988, he has been a member of the American Cancer Society's National Task Force on Breast Cancer Control.
Dr. Henderson has won many honors and awards, including Outstanding Industry Leader in Medical Research, California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute, 1999 and the Millennium Award from Bristol-Myers Squibb Oncology and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 2000.
