Jean Anne Donnell, BA, RN
Clinical Nurse III
Biography
In 2008, Jean Anne Donnell joined the Breast Care Center team after working for UCSF for 18 years. Donnell's prior nursing positions at UCSF include nine years of service as a research nurse coordinating clinical research trials for the gastrointestinal oncology clinical research program, and stints in orthopaedic surgery and the general clinical research/oral-maxillofacial surgery areas.
Born in Canada, Donnell grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She obtained a BA in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire, where she had the opportunity to travel around the world aboard the USS Universe through the University of Pittsburgh's Semester-at-Sea program.
Subsequently, Donnell obtained her nursing degree, graduating with honors, while working part-time on ski patrol at Wildcat Mountain, NH. In her spare time, Donnell enjoys reading, traveling, skiing, and scuba diving.
